Ohio State coach talks crowd noise in Happy Valley
UNDATED – The Penn State football team had a big win over Iowa Saturday and now they get ready for rival Ohio State. Buckeyes coach Urban Meyer says his team is must be on their game traveling into Happy Valley. “I’ve never been to a game up there, but I understand from our coaches that it is the loudest place in the Big 10 to play. We assist that by playing in the evening. Whenever you go on the road, you pack your defense, don’t turn the ball over and be smart. We better be on it.”
In his press conference, aired on The Steve Jones Show Monday on WKOK, Meyer says his team is preparing to take on a very good Nittany Lion squad. “Their defense has always been good. They are not feeling the effects of the scholarship hit, because they are very good. They did what they wanted at Iowa.”
