Harrar Collects All-Big Ten Honors

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – Penn State men’s basketball graduate student John Harrar garnered All-Big Ten accolades for the second-straight year after being named All-Big Ten honorable mention by both the conference coaches and media, as announced in the league’s postseason honors Tuesday afternoon.   Harrar finished the regular season as one of just two Big Ten players averaging a double-double with 10.5 points and 10.3 rebounds per game. His 10.3 rebounds per game rank second in the Big Ten and 11th in all of Division I. He leads the Big Ten and ranks seventh nationally with 3.57 offensive boards per game,…

Penn State Athletics Announces Beaver Stadium Survey

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – As the next phase of the Beaver Stadium Concept Study, Penn State Athletics has announced it will partner with CAA ICON and Populous on a survey to further evaluate potential football stadium development options.   CAA ICON and Populous are internationally-recognized leaders in the area of sports and entertainment venue architecture, planning and development. The Beaver Stadium planning study follows the work done by Populous and Penn State as part of the ICA Facilities Master Plan, which was announced in March 2017. By NICK KOSKO  Lions 24/7 Penn State finished No. 9 overall and capped off an 11-2 season in 2019 with a 53-39 victory over Memphis in the Cotton Bowl. The Nittany Lions narrowly missed out on the Big Ten Championship game with a 28-17 loss to Ohio State.
