Bengals linebacker Vontaze Burfict isn’t the only player who was hit with a punishment following Cincinnati’s wild playoff loss to Pittburgh last week. At least five other people have also been punished in the form of a fine. CBS Sports NFL Insider Jason La Canfora has reported that the NFL has handed out almost $85,000 in fines stemming from Saturday’s game. The biggest fine went to Bengals cornerback Adam “Pacman” Jones, who was fined $28,940 for making contact with an official during the fourth quarter of the Bengals’ 18-16 loss.
