By Will Brinson | CBSSports.com NFL Writer Heath Miller called it a career on Friday, announcing his retirement after 11 years with the Steelers. Miller, 33, was drafted by Pittsburgh in the first round of the 2005 NFL Draft out of Virginia and spent his entire career playing for the Steelers. He won a pair of Lombardi Trophies with Pittsburgh and was the picture of reliability, starting 167 of 168 games during the regular season and all 15 postseason games. Miller finishes his career first in receptions (592), receiving yards (6,569) and touchdowns (45) by a tight end in Steelers history….
Five Nittany Lions Invited to Combine
GoPSUSports.com/UNIVERSITY PARK, PA. – Five Penn State football student-athletes — Christian Hackenberg (Palmyra, Va.), Austin Johnson (Galloway, N.J.), Jordan Lucas (New Rochelle, N.Y.), Carl Nassib (West Chester, Pa.), Anthony Zettel (West Branch, Mich.) — have been invited to participate in the National Football League’s 2016 Scouting Combine, the third-highest total in the Big Ten Conference. The 2016 NFL Scouting Combine is set for Feb. 23-29 at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis. Penn State has had five players invited to the combine in each of the last two years.
