Penn State Pay Back!

By Ralph D. Russo – STATE COLLEGE, Pa. (AP) — Saquon Barkley and Trace McSorley cut through Michigan’s stingy defense, each scoring three touchdowns, and No. 2 Penn State emphatically avenged its last regular-season loss with a 42-13 victory against the 19th-ranked Wolverines on Saturday night. Barkley set the tone the first time he touched the ball. He took a direct snap on the second play of the game and blazed 69 yards for a touchdown on his way to 161 yards from scrimmage that are a nice addition to his Heisman Trophy bid. McSorley ran for three scores for…

The Big Ten will be the first conference to play 20 conference games in the history of Division I basketball, a season earlier than the ACC, which will play 20 league games in 2018-19. We might only be halfway to more leagues doing the same as coaches in the SEC and Pac-12.  Their…

PSU Beats IU, Hamilton 3 TD Catches

By Travis Johnson — STATE COLLEGE, Pa. (AP) — DaeSean Hamilton began his Penn State career uncertain he’d ever get a chance to contribute. He’ll end it with the most receptions in Nittany Lions history. The fifth-year senior caught nine passes for 122 yards and three touchdowns and broke the school receptions mark in No. 4 Penn State’s 45-14 victory over Indiana on Saturday. “I think he’s a great example for our younger players,” coach James Franklin said. “They’ve been playing football at Penn State for a long time. There’s been a bunch of really good players. So whenever you…
