Penn State Lacrosse with Five All Americans

GoPSUSports.com/UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – The Penn State men’s lacrosse team saw five student-athletes honored as Inside Lacrosse All-Americans on Sunday Night. Redshirt-junior Grant Ament was named IL First Team All-America on attack. Senior Chris Sabiaand junior Mac O’Keefe both earned a spot on the second team, while senior Nick Spillane was honored as a third team member. Junior face-off specialist Gerard Arceri was an honorable mention selection. Penn State Wrestling Rolls Over Bucknell

Lewisburg, PA – (GoPSUSports.com) – No. 1 Penn State (2-0, 0-0 B1G) made its first-ever visit to Bucknell (2-2) for a dual meet and dominated the homestanding Bison in sold out Sojka Pavilion. The Nittany Lions won nine of ten bouts, including three pins, to roll to a 42-3 victory in Lewisburg. The dual was wrestled in front of a sellout crowd of 4,279 in Bucknell’s Sojka Pavilion. Phillies Trade for 1st Baseman Justin Bour

MLB.com – The Phillies acquired first baseman Justin Bour and cash considerations from the Marlins on Friday in exchange for an unnamed Minor League pitcher, sources confirm to MLB.com. Bour had reportedly been claimed by the Phillies after Miami had placed the first baseman on trade waivers, and the two sides subsequently agreed to a deal, as reported by MLB Network insider Ken Rosenthal. Bour first needed to clear trade waivers before he was able to be freely traded by the Marlins, due to the passing of the July 31 non-waiver Trade Deadline.

Barkley To Attend NFL Draft

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – Former Nittany Lion running back Saquon Barkley is among the 22 prospects who will attend the 2018 NFL Draft at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. The Draft runs Thursday, April 26-Saturday, April 28. Barkley is the first Nittany Lion player to attend the draft since Donovan Smith attended in 2015. Dick Enberg Dead at 82

SAN DIEGO — (CBS News) — Dick Enberg, a Hall of Fame broadcaster known as much for his excited calls of “Oh my!” as the big events he covered during a 60-year career, died Thursday. He was 82. Enberg’s daughter, Nicole Enberg Vaz, confirmed the death to The Associated Press.
