The Big Ten Adopts Stringent Medical Protocols; Football Season to Resume October 23-24, 2020
ROSEMONT, Ill. – The Big Ten Council of Presidents and Chancellors (COP/C) adopted significant medical protocols including daily antigen testing, enhanced cardiac screening and an enhanced data-driven approach when making decisions about practice/competition. The COP/C voted unanimously to resume the football season starting the weekend of October 23-24, 2020. Penn State Athletics Begins Phased Return June 8

Big Ten, Penn State Cancels Competition Through End of Academic Year
UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – The Big Ten Conference and Penn State Athletics announced today the cancellation of all conference and non-conference competitions through the end of the academic year, including spring sports that compete beyond the academic year.
