Freiermuth Headlines All-Big Ten Honorees on Offense

  UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – Penn State junior tight end Pat Freiermuth highlighted Penn State’s six All-Big Ten honorees on offense as he was named the Kwalick-Clark Big Ten Tight End of the Year, it was announced on Tuesday. The Big Ten Adopts Stringent Medical Protocols; Football Season to Resume October 23-24, 2020

ROSEMONT, Ill. – The Big Ten Council of Presidents and Chancellors (COP/C) adopted significant medical protocols including daily antigen testing, enhanced cardiac screening and an enhanced data-driven approach when making decisions about practice/competition. The COP/C voted unanimously to resume the football season starting the weekend of October 23-24, 2020. The decision was based on information presented by the Big Ten Return to Competition Task Force, a working group that was established by the COP/C and Commissioner Kevin Warren to ensure a collaborative and transparent process. Penn State Athletics Begins Phased Return June 8

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa – As part of Penn State’s overall planning process and working with University officials, Penn State Athletics will begin a phased approach to return to campus beginning June 8 with 75 football student-athletes. Big Ten, Penn State Cancels Competition Through End of Academic Year

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – The Big Ten Conference and Penn State Athletics announced today the cancellation of all conference and non-conference competitions through the end of the academic year, including spring sports that compete beyond the academic year. As such, Penn State Athletics teams will no longer compete for the remainder of the 2019-20 academic year.
