Penn State Football at Auburn Slated for 3:30 p.m on CBS

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – Penn State football’s Sept. 17 contest at Auburn will kick off at 3:30 p.m. ET, the SEC announced on Wednesday. The game will air on CBS. This will mark Penn State’s 26th all-time appearance on the network. Penn State last played a game on CBS on Sept. 16, 2000 at Pittsburgh, a 12-0 loss to the Panthers. The Nittany Lions hold a 2-1 advantage over the Tigers in the all-time series. Last season, PSU celebrated the annual Penn State White Out game with a 28-20 win over Auburn. Barbour Wins Sports Business Journal’s AD of the Year Award

  UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – Penn State Vice President for Intercollegiate Athletics Sandy Barbour was selected as Sports Business Journal’s Sports Business AD of the Year Award at the 15th annual Sports Business Awards Wednesday evening at the New York Marriott Marquis Time Square. Harrar Collects All-Big Ten Honors

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – Penn State men’s basketball graduate student John Harrar garnered All-Big Ten accolades for the second-straight year after being named All-Big Ten honorable mention by both the conference coaches and media, as announced in the league’s postseason honors Tuesday afternoon.   Harrar finished the regular season as one of just two Big Ten players averaging a double-double with 10.5 points and 10.3 rebounds per game. Penn State Athletics Announces Beaver Stadium Survey

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – As the next phase of the Beaver Stadium Concept Study, Penn State Athletics has announced it will partner with CAA ICON and Populous on a survey to further evaluate potential football stadium development options.   CAA ICON and Populous are internationally-recognized leaders in the area of sports and entertainment venue architecture, planning and development. The Beaver Stadium planning study follows the work done by Populous and Penn State as part of the ICA Facilities Master Plan, which was announced in March 2017.
